WrestleMania 33 Confirmed For Florida

We haven't seen this year's WrestleMania just yet, but WWE has announced that next year's extravaganza will take place from the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Florida.

I have no complaints. I'm possibly repeating things I've written in previous years, but WrestleMania is an event that deserves to be held in huge stadiums. The Citrus Bowl gets a thumbs up from me.

The Minnesota Vikings' new stadium was one of the runners for the event. There was even a video produced by the owners claiming that WrestleMania was coming to the Twin Cities, so something evidently fell through there.

This isn't the first time the Citrus Bowl has hosted WWE's biggest night of the year.

The previous occasion was WrestleMania XXIV on 2008. On that night, The Big Show wrestled Floyd Mayweather, Jr in the mainstream-interest match of the night. The main event saw The Undertaker defeat Edge

The event will take place on April 2nd 2017.
