Cardiff To Host The Champions League Final

I heard that Cardiff will host the Champions League final in 2017 a number of weeks ago and am quite shocked at myself for not mentioning it on this blog when I first found out.

The venue will be the Millennium Stadium. As far as I'm aware, there doesn't appear to be a date set, but it'll be in mid-to-late May of '17. With it being a season with no national tournaments like the Euros or the World Cup, I expect it'll be in the bottom half of the month.

This is brilliant news for the city. I'm interested to see which teams it'll be playing on the day.
