Yesterday would have been Owen Hart's fiftieth birthday.
Wow.
The wrestler, who died after falling from the ceiling of the Kemper Arena during a WWE pay-per-view in 1999, was one of my favourites.
Over the years, I've often wondered what would have became of Hart's career had that dreadful accident never happened.
It's intriguing. Would he have stuck around WWF/E when his contract expired or would he have made his way back to WCW?
Would he have ever raised a World Heavyweight Championship? I'd like to think so.
The worst part of his passing is the fact he left a wife and two very young children behind. When you take that into consideration, the career 'what ifs?' don't matter that much.
