The Denver Broncos quarterback amended part of his contract on Wednesday. This took off four million dollars that the football team would owe the player in a few weeks if he was still on the books. This money will now go towards salary space for other players.
And if you think Manning loses out - he won't. Not if he wins a Super Bowl.
He still gets $15 Million for 2015. He'll also receive a $2 Million bonus if the team wins the AFC Championship and have an extra $2 Million if they raise the Vince Lombardi Trophy at the end of the upcoming season.
Manning needed to pass a physical. This was carried out yesterday and he was given the all-clear.
Brilliant news. I was worried he would retire. So glad to be wrong on that one.
