I won't lie, for a brief moment, I did feel slightly irked when Steven Gerrard scored the third goal in the game between MK Dons and Liverpool on Monday night.

I wasn't completely annoyed. I still believe that I made a good choice quitting while I was ahead. Sure, I could have earned an extra £110.
But I could have also made just £90.
Instead, I leave the weekend with an extra £266. This sum softened the blow I felt seeing Gerrard's winner.
