Watching The 2014 Winter Olympics

I have been watching bits and pieces of the Sochi Winter Olympics since they started late last week. There's one sport I had never seen before and it has been fascinating to follow.

Mogul skiing is a freestyle event where skiers have to descend over a bumpy slope and then perform jumps at certain stages.

I don't know if it's a new or old Olympic event. All I know is I had never seen or heard of this style of competition before.

All that bumping at those speeds must be a killer on their knees and hips later on in their lives.

I have also watched snowboarding (very good), ice hockey (always good) and curling (bores me) but it's the Mogul that has been my favourite so far.

I'll more than likely write about the other sports when I get around to watching them. Until then, I'll be skiing you.
