I knew Roberto Di Matteo wouldn't last long. I didn't have to be a clairvoyant to work that one out.
The rumour doing the rounds is that Rafa Benitez is going to take over on an interim basis with, former Barcelona coach, Pep Guardiola being appointed sometime before the 2013/14 season.
Big mistake with the Benitez idea.
It's a lame duck appointment. If the players know he isn't in for the long-haul, they will not perform for him.
And you don't have to be a psychologist to work that one out.

On the subject of managers, it's good to see Harry Redknapp's people getting his name out there in the hope of getting him in the Queens Park Rangers hot seat once Mark Hughes gets ousted.
Apparently, Harry is looking to take the Ukraine job.
Yes, the same Harry Redknapp who didn't want to go to Newcastle United because he wanted to stay in the south.
In my opinion, it will be a cold day in hell before we see Redknapp coach the Ukraine national side.
