Comeback

Ricky Hatton will return to the ring tonight when he faces Vyacheslav Senchenko.

It will be the first time Hatton has boxed since his TKO loss to Manny Pacquiao on May 2nd 2009.

That's too long to be out, in my opinion.

Don't get me wrong, in his day Hatton was one of the best. With that said, he was beaten by the elite in the sport in the aforementioned bout against Pacquiao as well as against Floyd Mayweather Junior in 2007.

He is older and the sport has moved on without him.

I am not anticipating much out of this comeback.
