You know something that annoys me before the beginning of each football season?
Friendlies.
And the ones I dislike the most are the 'Cup' ones. You know, like the Emirates Cup.
It seems like too much effort. It's probably a good thing to see live, but TV? Waste of time, if you ask me.
And I know you aren't asking me.
Take Celtic, for instance. They are playing in the Dublin Cup this weekend when they should really be playing in week two of the Scottish Premier League.
That right there proves how silly these things are.
Just get the seasons started already. None of this cup rubbish, I want proper football.
