I have explained how season betting handicaps work before but thought I would make it easier by quoting what is written on a Coral bookmakers' betting slip that I picked up yesterday.

It reads:

Handicap betting works by adding every team's points head start (handicap) to their end of season total to calculate the final handicap result.

How easy was that?
