My Thoughts On WWE Magazine

I needed cash back at a shop earlier so, to make sure my total when over the required amount, I bought the latest issue of WWE Magazine.

I haven't read any of it, I've only skimmed through the pages and it looks the same as it has done since the relaunch four or five years ago.

It's the same old FHM style features that includes wrestling personalities talking about latest gadgets and stuff.

I've always said that it was a good idea because this is the genre of magazine that still seems to be surviving but - with that said - I miss the old WWF Magazine.

I'm nostalgic for those days when I would run down the road every first Saturday morning of the month to secure a copy with my two pounds in hand.

The business was a lot different back then. Storylines were planned months, if not years, ahead so it was possible for them to go to print knowing which angles they could promote within the mag.

So, yes - I like the new style of WWE Magazine but it's not the sort of thing I would religiously read like I did with earlier versions.

I'll stick to PowerSlam magazine. A publication I have bought each month since issue one in August 1994.
