In yesterday's post, I noted how the Brett Favre retirement story has reappeared for the umpteenth time.
Since I last posted on here, there has been another chapter added to the tale.
You see, Favre was seen on camera talking to reporters yesterday and he claimed that he hadn't contacted anyone in regards to retiring.
If you ask me, whoever sent out this rumour was doing so because it would get everyone talking about Brett Favre.
Again.
I wouldn't be surprised if Favre's own spin doctors did it for the publicity and to get things buzzing after 'Favre Watch' was out of the news due to other sports news taking priority.
It's clever but it's getting old.
Just like Favre.
