Inside Edge

When discussing the potential Royal Rumble winner last night, Edge's name came up.

The wrestler had been out injured for seven months due to an Achilles injury and there were rumours floating about that he was going to be in the match.

I was against the idea because I felt, if he was an entrant, he would look weak as the plans for WrestleMania XXVI was for an Edge versus Chris Jericho in a grudge match.

I talked myself out of Edge making a surprise entry and winning the match and closed the conversation saying 'I'll look like a fool if he comes out and wins it now.'

Yes, I'm a fool.

The WrestleMania XXVI storylines are getting foggier now that Edge is in the mix. On one hand, I have to credit WWE because everything isn't as predictable now as it looked twenty-four hours ago.

With that said, I still feel they booked themselves into a corner by having Edge involved in the match last night. A part of me is still doubting that he will be in a title match at the big show.
