Pro Bowl Blues

Tonight sees the NFL host the Pro Bowl.

This American football game involves the best players from both the AFC and NFC conferences as voted for by the fans and is usually held the week after the Super Bowl.

I'm not sure why they are hosting it a week before. It makes no sense, in my opinion.

These teams will comprise of some Indianapolis and New Orleans players. It would be like having a friendly a week before the FA Cup final and playing the best players.

Nonsense.

I usually watch the first quarter and get bored.

As it had been played after the Super Bowl, I found the game to be meaningless and found myself clamouring for September.

I'll give it a go tonight but I know I'll end up switching it off.

At least we'll get a proper denouement to the season next week and not have to deal with this rubbish a week later.
