A live episode of TNA Impact - to air on Monday January 4th - was confirmed last night.
Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff and TNA president, Dixie Carter were at the season finale of UFC's The Ultimate Fighter and, mid-way through the event, Joe Rogan interviewed The Hulkster where the announcement was made.
There is now speculation that WWE and the USA Network will add an extra hour to Monday Night Raw to counter TNA.
We may also see Dwayne Johnson appear as guest host of Raw to oppose the debut of Hulk Hogan on the other channel.
This audacious move by TNA may be the start of something big.
Or end up being the biggest mistake they ever made.
The first Monday Night War took place from 1995 to 2001 where WWF and WCW aired prime time shows against each other.
The then WWF ended up winning that war but were on the ropes from 1996 to 1998 before turning things around and eventually buying out their rivals.
