It used to be fun having the house to myself.
I was never the house party host. Trust me, you wouldn't blame me if you saw some of the house parties I went to and the mess which was made.
I would have just a few friends over and we'd have a number of drinks and then go into town. I'm not saying it was boring - it was conservative and I never got into trouble when the folks arrived home two - or sometimes three - weeks later.
I'm older now. No more mini-parties. Just me.
