It only took a few days after I said how boring the Euro 2008 was so far for the most exciting match to take place.
To say the closing quarter of Turkey versus the Czech Republic was one of the most dramatic matches I have seen in football would be an understatement.
Turkey were 2-0 down and out of the competition. By the end of the game they were 3-2 winners.
Madness.
The first thought I had was how much people on the betting exchanges would have made - and lost - on this turnaround. I am sure there would have been a lot of money laid on Turkey to win at incredible odds when they were losing by two goals and I'm sure some crazy punters would have taken up the bet in the hope of a change in the scoreline.
It's a shame I didn't have that vision - I was sure Turkey were done for. I'm positive there are many more who felt the same as me.
