The sports press are getting ready to prepare the obituary on yet another Kevin Keegan reign at a football club,
It is well-known that the Newcastle United manager is in London today to meet with the club's owner, Mike Ashley.
Ashley is said to be upset with Keegan's recent comments about the Magpies being a million miles away from the top four clubs in the Premier League and that fifth place is the ideal place they should aim for.
Well, it is the truth.
If Mike Ashley thinks Keegan is wrong with his assessment he has just proved how unrealistic his ambitions are. If he is simply upset that Keegan aired this opinion in public, then I think he has a reason to be upset.
Once again, it is the truth.
Is Keegan going to be fired for being truthful?
If Mike Ashley doesn't like the truth he should try and prove Keegan wrong and do the only thing that will give the team a chance of getting to the top.
He should ante up.
