The Nick Hogan Trial

I watched the Nick Hogan trial live over the Internet yesterday evening and it was quite the scene.

Hogan, if you recall, was in a car crash in Florida in August of last year. His passenger, John Graziano was badly injured and is expected to remain in a vegetative state for the rest of his life.

The Hogan family are set to be sued by the Grazianos but yesterday's court trial was the criminal charges against Nick.

One of the most noteworthy comments made was during Hulk Hogan's speech when he was a character witness for his son. He announced that the TV show, Hogan Knows Best, was scripted. Wow, you don't say! I guess he had to say it because the Nick Hogan on that show is seen as an immature punk and the best way to offer a perfect son would be to distance himself from that persona.

He ended up getting eight months of jail time as well as losing his license for three years, being banned from drinking and getting community service.

That's nothing compared to the life-time sentence his passenger is going to endure from his injuries.
