Visitors

I had a visit from my Canadian relatives yesterday.

The last time I met them was in 2001 - it was a brief meeting then as I was on my way to work. This time I had a little bit more time with them.

The lady is my Father's second cousin and she and her Husband were staying in Cardiff for the weekend.

They both live in Calgary so they were impressed with my knowledge of professional wrestling, American football and the little I do know of ice hockey.

I asked who his favourite wrestler was and he told me he once liked Chris Benoit but his favourite nowadays is Shawn Michaels. I couldn't find fault with that answer. I guess a lot of Albertans had Benoit as their favourite before last Summer.

He was impressed when I showed him my pictures of when I met the WWF stars at their hotel in Cardiff at the age of fourteen years old.

They left to go out with my parents after an hour, it will probably be another six years before I see them again.
