I have a dream!
I was looking through the football matches to be played this weekend and a game stood out to me.
Derby .vs. Aston Villa.
The Rams have only won one game at home this season and will be relegated at the end of May because they sit bottom of the division. So, in essence, they have nothing to play for.
I think this will be more of a reason to win, though.
The betting websites have Derby listed at around 5/1 to win this game. It does look like a hard task on paper, that's why the odds are stacked against them.
My predictor calculator also thinks this game will not be Derby's. It lists Villa as having a 57.3% chance of winning, Derby has 19.2% and the draw is listed at 23.5%.
The predictor has been wrong before, this could be one of those instances.
Evening Update - If you want to learn anything from this post it's best to see that stats never lie. Villa won 6-0!
