The article involved the TNA owner -Dixie Carter - having attended a ROH (Ring of Honor) event on Friday night. She had apparently gone to the show on a mission to prove that a friendly competition exists between both companies.
This friendly rivalry wasn't what was wrong with the article (although I could argue that point but that's for another day). The problem with the article was the accompanying picture.
I had heard that Dixie Carter was a young, good looking lady. I hadn't seen many pictures of her before as her role is that as owner and nothing more. She is never seen on television.
A lot of people have gone on record to say how beautiful she was so I was a little shocked at the picture I saw on the website. It was of a lady who may look good for her age but she certainly doesn't look 'young'.
I realised immediately that The Sun must have went into their picture archives and picked up a picture of Dixie Carter the actress rather than Dixie Carter the daughter of one of the richest men in America.
I went onto the TNA website and found a picture of the Dixie in question and sent it on to the people at the newspaper. Within a few hours the article was corrected. I managed to save a copy of the original article and have placed both versions of the headline to show you the big mistake the website made.
