Jose For England?

Will Jose Mourinho become the next coach of the England football team?

It's the question being asked all over the papers and radio this morning. If I were to answer then I would say 'no'.

Jose Mourinho is the people's favourite. In the present history of the Englsih FA they seem to shy away from the public choice and appoint someone the committee thinks is the perfect choice. None of these picks have been perfect.

Another reason why I think Jose won't join is because he is a club coach. All his successes have been accomplished with the backing of money-men who have the ability to bring in players from all sides of the world.

Most English players don't have the skills of many of Mourinho's signings during his Chelsea days. Shaun Wright-Phillips is a clear example. He makes it to the England squad on most Internationals but hardly ever laced a boot on Mourinho's Chelsea match days.

It would be an interesting signing if Mourinho did join England but what I really think this is is his agent putting his name out there to get his client a job at a club. Managers are worth a lot more when there are other clubs chasing them.

But, I oould be wrong.
