I did two single bets today with the final forty-five pounds in my Blue Square account. At close of day I still have that amount in my hands.
I placed £22.50 on Bolton to win their match against Blackburn Rovers and for Glasgow Rangers to beat Hibernian.
Both of these results had odds of evens so the scenario I anticipated was for both to win and I doubled up but I also had an insurance cover in case one team were to lose. Obviously, I would have lost everything had both results not gone in my favour.
Blackburn ended up beating Bolton thus killing that part of the bet.
Rangers, on the other hand, defeated their opponents and kept me in the black.
