The Flying Finn

I was playing a sit-n-go this evening when I was dealt AK. The hand turned into a controversial one as my play was criticised by a certain player at the table.

The cards were dealt to me and I had two raises before it was my turn to act. Regular readers of this blog will realise that Big Slick is one of my worst hands as I am often beaten when holding it and destroyed when up against it.

The two raises ahead of my moment to act made me think it would be best to lay down the hand. I thought I would lessen their odds of winning the hand by going all-in with it.

It was a risky move considering I was up against the two raisers who could have called my move - but they didn't.

I refused to show the cards I had once I had claimed the pot and then one of the raisers said he had folded AQ. I told him that I had him beat and then he said I played the hand wrongly.

The user, Flying Finn, was in no position to be commenting on my play as he didn't know what I had. How the hell could he have made judgement on my victory when he had no knowledge of the hole cards I was playing?

I told him my play was done in a way to take one or both of them out of the hand and to take down everything preflop but he continued to argue.

I have one thing to say to the Flying Finn's advice - I don't give a Flying...
