Thirty Days To Go

With it being thirty days until New Year's Eve I have a few decisions to make.

This blog was an experiment throughout 2006 to offer a small piece of my life. My main intention was to use it as a source to look back at my poker and betting so I could revisit past betting triumphs and tribulations at different times to see where I went wrong.

I also intended to use it as a little biography but the ultimate reason was for the poker and sports betting. My life became the third reason why I am here typing this.

I always used to enjoy writing but in my late teens to early twenties I wandered away from it so I also wanted to do something that would keep my writing active. This was that something.

And now it all could be over.

I am not sure whether I will continue with the blog in 2007 as it is time to take up a new challenge. I have to decide within the next thirty days what I intend to do in the new year.

In 2003 I decided to collect as many wrestling books as I could - I am still doing that. In 2004 my new year's resolution was to read every single Charles Dickens novel - I failed on the first book! In 2005 I decided to begin learning to play poker. Well, I am still doing that but I have stuck at it.

It has been nice doing this over the year and has become such a habit. Just like now, I am about to go out for a few drinks and thought 'I had better write something before I go out just in case I forget when I come home.'

Am I going to be able to stop doing this, anyway!?
