Two members of my family are facing important days today.
Josh is making the next stage in his big move as he starts his new infant school in Gwent. The school is a Welsh speaking one and as Josh doesn't know how to speak the language yet I am sure he will find the first few weeks a little bit of a challenge. But, he learns very quickly and I am sure that within months he will be fluent and settling in.
Then - there is my mother.
A few weeks ago she had been complaining about being ill and went to see the doctor. She had to go and have an ultra-sound scan in hospital a few days ago and the resiults came in. Her doctor told her she should come in for an appointment.
I am a worrier. Always have been. Always will be. I hope the day turns out well for them both!
