The knives are now out after England were knocked out of the World Cup.

There is so much I have to say on this topic that I could type here for hours but for now I will say this - The team are useless.

I will be lambasted for this comment by people who will claim because I am Welsh I am showing a bias against the superior team in the United Kingdom. Well, it's time for a reality check and that is ALL teams within the UK have a lot to do before there is any thought of claiming a top honour in the world of football.

England are full of themselves. How they were confident of winning the cup beats me.

In the weeks and months leading up to the tournament we had everyone and their mother saying this was the team that would be triumphant on July 9th. Then, a few games in, these same names were looking at the easiest way to get to the finals hoping that certain teams finished in specific places in the group stages.

You win respect and competitions by beating the best.

England were not the best and in the current climate of football they never will be.
