In a post published on Monday morning, I wrote about the advertising campaign to kill off Planter Peanuts' iconic character, Mr Peanut.
Well, it seems that the helicopter crash that killed iconic basketball player - Kobe Bryant - has caused the campaign to pause as Planters has released a statement stating as such.
What's operative in the statement, however, is they said the advertising has 'paused'. To me, that means they're going to continue at a later point.
Mr Peanut was due to have a funeral during the commercials of this Sunday's Super Bowl.
