I really enjoyed what WWE did to honour 'Mean' Gene Okerlund on last night's episode of Raw.
The broadcast opened with the graphic indicating that the show was in memory of the Hall of Fame announcer. Then, later on - following a ten bell salute for Okerlund - Hulk Hogan came out to speak about his friend.
The Hogan segment included such an incredibly done video tribute. It was like seeing part of my childhood and early adulthood flash before my eyes.
Gene Okerlund was a HUGE part of pro wrestling. Especially in the years I followed it. The package was awesome.
