I don't know how true this story is, but I read - on IMDB - that, back in the 1990s, there was a script doing the rounds in Hollywood for a movie starring Eddie Murphy and Paul Hogan.
Okay, not THAT much of a big deal, right? What If I told you the plan was to have their characters from Beverly Hills Cop and Crocodile Dundee respectively?
That is a crossover I would have been interested in seeing as I loved both of the franchises back then.
I know, I know. The likelihood of this movie being crap isn't lost on me. I've seen Beverly Hills Cop III.
And I've also seen Crocodile Dundee In Los Angeles, which is what the idea eventually evolved into.
