Terry Wogan

What a start to 2016. Yet another legend has passed away.

I am of course referring to Terry Wogan. The news broke earlier this today that the veteran broadcaster has died following a short battle with cancer.

He was a huge name over here in the UK and in his home country of Ireland.

Even though he's famous for his BBC Radio 2 work and all the Eurovision Song Contests and Children In Need events he hosted, my favourite memories of Wogan are from the chat show he hosted on BBC 1 in the 1980's and 90's.

He had some intriguing moments on that. The first ones of the top of my head are the David Icke and George Best interviews.

They became even more legendary today.
