End Of An Era

It was an end of an era on Sunday when Sky Sports aired WWE Tables, Ladders, Chairs & Stairs.

The reason why is because - from next month - all WWE pay-per-view shows will be moving to Sky Sports Box Office.

I believe the first time Sky put a WWE main card on their Sky Sports platform was in 1992 with SummerSlam from Wembley Stadium. So, it had a decent run despite losing a few PPVs to Channel 4 between 2000 and 2001 and then moving a select few events to Sky Box Office from 2002 onwards until they all move over in 2015 and beyond.

It certainly isn't a good time to be a WWE fan in Ireland and the UK.
