4 Reasons Why Cardiff City Should Have Beaten Manchester City Last Saturday

Saturday's edition of the South Wales Echo came with four interesting stats of hope for Cardiff City's trip to Manchester.

They were:

1) Cardiff City had not lost to Manchester City in thirty years. Before Saturday, the last defeat came at Ninian Park in September 1984.

2) The last time Manchester City played and beat Newcastle United in the league, they lost their next game to Cardiff.

3) The last time Cardiff played and lost 2-0 to West Ham United in the league, they won their next game against Manchester City

4) The last time Manchester City won 5-0 in the cup - against Wigan this season - they lost their next game to Aston Villa.

The final score was 4-1 to Manchester City.

The moral of the story - without hope, we have nothing.
