Batista returned to World Wrestling Entertainment on this past Monday's edition of Raw and will be an active competitor in Sunday's Royal Rumble main attraction.
The former WWE and World heavyweight champion had been absent from WWE programming for four years so he is more or less a fresh face again.
And speaking of face - he has come back as a babyface.
It was obvious he would. However, his last run in the company - as a heel - saw him bring out a really quirky character we hadn't seen in him. I hope he eventually reverts back to being the cocky heel because it made for some great television.
He is the favourite to win the Royal Rumble match as the rumoured plan for him is to wrestle Randy Orton at WrestleMania XXX.
