If I was applauding of the WWE's promotion of the release date of their movie on May 19th then the producers and promotion team behind The Omen need an even bigger pat on the back.
It was a genius idea to make sure the remake of the horror classic was released on this date. Only once every 100 years could they pull it off. And they did.
I doubt I will watch this movie as horror films don't appeal to me as much as they once did. When I was extremely young I used to get my kicks watching scary films like A Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th.
I watched the Omen Trilogy in one go during a half-term holiday in 1991 and I just didn't like it. Not that it was scary. it just didn't connect with me as being good.
I guess I had been accustomed to the maniacal looking monsters in these videos and not normal looking people with only a 666 on their head!
