Let me explain.
The other day, I had one final can of the gingerbread Pepsi I wrote about in the latter part of 2025. Back when that post went live, I sampled the drink from a two-litre bottle. Well, I ended up buying a few cans of it on the shopping order. Those cans eventually became one. Until they became none.
Once again online grocery shopping, I came across something for Easter 2026. I added it to my trolley.
It was a little Terry's Chocolate Orange cream filled egg. Upon seeing it on the Iceland website, I wondered to myself whether I had ever had one before.
No, what I meant exactly was this: I knew I had eaten a regular Terry's Chocolate Orange. I had even had mini Terry's Chocolate Orange segments from inside a bag (I believe they had bits of popping candy). I simply didn't know - for sure - if I had ever had something like what you see in the image above.
I believe the correct answer is... no, I hadn't. I believe this is the first time these eggs have been on shelves.
I don't have anything to prove it other than my own recollection. I am close to certain I have never bitten into a Terry's Orange, egg or any other shape for that matter, to find a nice orange-flavoured fondant.
It made for a nice (months away from Easter) treat. With that said Cadbury's Caramel eggs are still the GOAT when it comes to these things.
