A Festive Pepsi

Look what I had this evening.

Pepsi Gingerbread Flavour

Yep, I have tasted gingerbread flavour Pepsi.

I first came across the pop a few weeks ago and bought it there and then. However, I had been reluctant to give it a go.

A possible reason why I wasn't all-in on giving the drink a try - despite buying a two litre bottle! - was because, during Christmas 2018, I tried a Christmas Coca-Cola which had cinnamon flavouring.

It was vile.

Finally plucking up the will to try gingerbread Pepsi out, I poured a glass of it this evening. And....

..it wasn't as bad as I had feared.

The gingerbread kick was pleasurable. Miles better than Coke's festive offering from seven years ago.

Even though it was very sweet, the Pepsi's bottle boasts of having 'zero sugar'. It's interesting to note that it isn't branded as Pepsi Max, which is what one would assume if they were looking for a sugar free Pepsi.

With that said, it's just like how Pepsi introduced the cream-flavoured drinks to stores over here earlier this year.

It was a Christmas miracle - a festive cola I'll have fond memories of whenever I think back to it in years from now.

I'll still shudder whenever I reminisce about cinnamon Coke, however.
