The series, based on novels by Nick Herron, focuses on a crew of failed M15 agents that are kept employed by the service but are placed away from the major side of the organisation.
As you would expect, the team end up involved in some of the big M15 operations through accidental and, or, other means.
The head of that arm - Jackson Lamb - is played by Gary Oldman. Brilliantly played by Gary Oldman, I should say.
I absolutely love Slow Horses. Next to Ted Lasso, it's the best programme to come out of Apple's streaming service.
Today's episode was the conclusion of season five. Thankfully, there are at least another two on the horizon. As is often the case with Slow Horses, a trailer for the next season aired immediately after today's finale. It looks even more exciting than this year's offering.
