Okay, now that you've returned, you're well aware of Arch Manning, the Texas Longhorns t-shirt, McDonald's Big Arch burger and my weekly Saturday night tributes to Vicki.
Going into yesterday, I had a 'Eureka!' moment when I realised what I could do for the Saturday tribute.
I was watching the television and saw the McDonald's commercial for The Big Arch. It has been on for months, but - just the other day - the small print caught my attention. It stated that the burger would leave restaurants next week.
Already having eaten two over the past couple of months and change, I didn't plan on buying another one. However, the Beavis and Butthead lightbulb lit up in the dream bubble above my head moments after catching the commercial.
Saturday's plan was to wear the Texas Longhorns t-shirt and watch their game against San Jose State. Then, when the time called for it, I would have a cup of Diet Coke.
I thought I'd take advantage of the final opportunity (for a while) to get a Big Arch and have it while watching Arch Manning as the tribute to Vick.
So, that's what I did. I timed it so well. The order arrived with two minutes to go before my alarm sounded.
And yes, the drink was a Diet Coke. It actually turned out to be less kilocalories than a usual large Diet Coke. You know why? Well - after taking three or four sips while eating the dinner - I accidentally knocked the cup over and lost everything that was left.
The truest Diet Coke if ever I saw one.
I know what Vick would have said to the accident. It would have been something along the lines of:
Just like the previous two Big Arch sessions, the burger was a glorious mess. I will buy another one. If they ever come around again.
The game was brilliant as well. The Longhorns won 38-7. Arch threw four touchdowns and rushed for another.

After writing the above post last night, and scheduling it to go live at midnight, I switched off the college football and opened the Virgin Media app to catch up with some of the TV I've missed this week.
I watched The Rookie. In the closing scenes of the episode, Cooper Manning (Arch's father) made a cameo as a coach of the Los Angeles Police Department's flag football team.
Of all the weeks for that episode to air, and for that particular night for me to decide to watch it. Incredible!
