G1 Tomorrow

The NJPW G1 Climax begins tomorrow. 

I think this is going to be either the tenth or eleventh year I'll be able to watch the tournament action live. It's one of my favourite times of the year as a professional wrestling fan. 

With that said - I have done ZERO preparation for this year's tourney.

I usually have a timetable created on a spreadsheet, with the dates and times, by now. I also have a tournament tracker spreadsheet. It counts the wins and losses of the wrestlers each day. I use it mainly for the wrestling betting content I blog about, but it does help a lot with generally following everything. Not this year. Well, not yet. That will be one of today's goals.

My lax approach to this year's edition could be because New Japan has lost a lot of my favourite stars over the past few years. Namely Kazuchika Okada and Tetsuya Naito. 

Still - I am sure I'll end up fully in the G1 mood by this time tomorrow.
