On March 27th, I wrote about spending late nights watching double bills of Prisoner: Cell Block H and noted that the series is currently at the stage where I first became a fan back when I was a child.
I noted that one of the scenes I remembered the most from my childhood would come up. Well, it finally aired sometime last week.
In the story, Nola McKenzie was shot by Bea Smith with a home-made gun.
It was fun to see it again thirty-three years on from when I first caught it.
I had forgotten the gun was made by McKenzie and that it had been planted in Bea Smith's room to coax her into trying to shoot herself.
Nola was such a great baddie. The fact I remember her demise, and the way it was done, is a testament to that opinion.
