NFL Database And Spreadsheet Betting 2024: The Aftermath

It started off so well. Until it fell apart.

NFL 2024 Regular Season Betting - Final Table

Following last night's push in the Bengals versus Steelers game, the NFL Spreadsheet and Database series ends with a win-loss record of a poor 13-15-3.

The Steelers +2 play was voided following their 17-19 loss to Cincinnati.

I'm not even going to make any excuses about how close the eighteen-week series could have been had only a few results, especially the three pushes, fell the right way.

It wouldn't have been enough.

A 46% strike-rate is unsuccessful (obviously!). As stated many times over the years, the key number - when it comes to NFL pointspread and totals wagering - is around the 54.5% mark.

With all that said, I preferred this approach for a series rather than only going with Thursday Night Football games, as I had done for many years previous to this season, so - when the 2025 season is upon us - I'll be picking games from the entire slate of games as I did in 2024.

But - that's not the next time you'll see any NFL spreadsheet and database plays. I'll be going through every single playoff game from next week's Wild Card Round right through to the Super Bowl.
