Now that Christmas 2024 is in the rear-view, I thought I would post a final update about the National Lottery scratchcard I played during Advent.
As noted in a post published on December 18th, the Christmas Countdown card had a winner in the form of matching two DOUBLE icons under window 17. The prize was £5. However, with the DOUBLE, my prize was.. err.. doubled.
Therefore, at the time of the post, I had £10 ready to be cashed. All I had to do was wait until the rest of the card was completed to see if I had any other wins on their way.
Well - I continued to scratch right through to Christmas Eve - but I did not find any further winners.
I paid £5 and it returned a tenner. A win is a win.
