Saleh Sacked

On one hand, I was surprised to see the New York Jets fire head coach - Robert Saleh - yesterday.

The team is currently 2-3 after five weeks. The most recent loss came against the Minnesota Vikings at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday afternoon and all seemed ready for this coming week's fixture: a Monday Night game against the Buffalo Bills.

That was until yesterday when Saleh was given his marching orders. He was, according to reports, escorted off the Jets' premises by security as soon as he was fired. Very cut-throat, but that happens in most businesses.

So, yes - I was surprised. On hand number one.

As for hand number two? It wasn't Saleh throwing interceptions. It wasn't Saleh dropping passes.

Saleh also lost the blame game.

The Jets are in 'Win Now Mode'.

But - is it too late?
