The Case Of A Bottomless Top

The following isn't a major world problem, but I am sitting here at my computer somewhat irked.

I've just had to pay postage for a parcel to return clothes I bought from a well-known British supermarket.

The clothes I am taking back are pyjamas. I ordered the right size and I am sure they fit. The problem is - I have only been sent the top and not the bottoms.

Here's what's annoying.

I have to pay to return the item and will not be compensated for the postage despite it not being my fault the clothes were 'missing parts'.

Isn't that unfair?!

As I was packing the pyjama shirt away, I wondered to myself 'is it worth going to all this effort seeing as I am on a loser anyway?' But then it struck me. That's what they want me to do. So, I am going to take it on the chin and send back the top.

Oh, and if you're thinking 'why didn't he call the customer service team to see if something can be arranged?' I tried that. I was on hold for ages. Twice.
