Those were the first words which came to mind yesterday evening when I read the news that Ted Lasso has been greenlit (green lighted?) for a fourth season.
I thought that was it after season three. It sure felt like it. The series had a nice conclusion. It seemed like a decent send-off to the story about an American football coach who gets a job running a British football club in - and around - the top flight.
I don't know whether to be elated or sceptical. Going back after such a strong finale - or what was meant to be one - has potential to ruin a good thing.
With that said - I had similar feelings when it was announced that Neighbours would be salvaged by Amazon after the Australian soap opera closed down production following a very strong farewell.
The return of Neighbours has been awesome.
And so could the return of Ted Lasso and company.
