I read a current news story yesterday afternoon.
According to some of the online news sites I visit, a hotel in Manchester is alleged to have cancelled a bunch of rooms fans had purchased ahead of next year's Oasis reunion concerts. The company informed the customers there was a 'technical error' so had to cancel the bookings for stays around the time of the events.
Okay? Well, here's the kicker - apparently, the rooms were then relisted at a higher price.
I'm not going to name the hotel in question. However, its spokesperson has denied any wrongdoing and that the error truly was a technical issue.
Isn't it incredible how the gremlins chose the day the concerts were announced to mess up the ordering system? What are the odds?
