Sunday Morning Post-Fight Post

I have just finished watching the Tyson Fury .vs. Oleksandr Usyk fight.

It was a good one. As I wrote in Saturday's post, I had a feeling Usyk would win. He did.

It was close, though. I sensed there was a chance of a draw near the end.

Fury was almost stopped in the ninth round.

Anyway, I won the bet.

I didn't like Fury's post-fight opinion that he won and that the decision went Usyk's way because Ukraine is at war.

That excuse is so 2022. Usyk won because he fought a better fight. And almost had you kayoed in the ninth.

I'm off to bed now.

The original plan for today's post was to write about the closing day of the Premier League season.

I didn't really have much to write about it other than to point out that it'll be Jurgen Klopp's last game in charge of Liverpool.

I'm not a fan of Liverpool, but I will miss Klopp.

Having him in the Premier League (and the other competitions Liverpool play in for that matter!), was wonderful.

In a way, I feel like I have done the many times Jose Mourinho has left the EPL.

Coaches like Mourinho and Klopp are brilliant for the league. Not just by their teams, but the way they are in the little things like talking with the press and offering honest insight.

I'm intrigued to see where Klopp goes now. He has said he'll never manage another team in the Premier League, so it's even more sad to see him depart.
