Magnum Is Back (Barely)

I woke up this morning and realised I had made a mess up with my TV recordings.

Remember how Magnum P.I. was cancelled by CBS last year only to be picked up by NBC a short time later?

Well, I cancelled the series link immediately after watching what I thought was the final episode and did not remember to redo it when I learned that the new season will air in the early hours of this morning in its 'Premiere' slot.

The good news, however, is I was able to set it up to record tonight's airing of the opening episode to season five and it will likely grab the premiere episodes from next week.

With all that said, it looks like I'll be cancelling the series link once again.

That's because, despite saving the series by picking it up last summer, NBC has now made the decision to also pull the plug.

I was under the impression it had been picked up for two seasons.
